About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting Fun-Fur-All.com

This page is a little bit about me and how I got to be where I am. Ever since I can remember I loved to dress up. I grew up watching Mr. Dressup, singing his songs, dancing along with the puppets and wishing that some day I might be able to dress up and entertain kids too.

My very first Halloween costumes my mother made me. She was wonderful about it. Not only did she sew me a costume, but she also had to sew one for my identical twin sister. She made it so much fun, including me anywhere she could, letting me try it on step by step, and watching her talent at work.

Every year in September we would make a trip to the local fabric store and pick up everything we needed for this years costume. I always got so excited when it was finished and I was allowed to wear it to school for our annual parade. I always had the nicest costume, especially in grade 2, when I was 7 years old. My mom put so much effort into these two costumes. I was Simba and my sister was Nala from the Lion King. Each strand of yarn was hand stitched in for the mane and in the end it looked amazing.

The very last costume my mom made me was a black panther. It was a basic jump suit style pattern, but I loved it. I wore it everywhere, and I mean everywhere. One time I was wearing it while we were moving, I didn't have anything on underneath but underwear and we made a quick stop at Ikea to pick up beds for our new house. My mom said it was time to take off the costume and I told her my dilemma. Without any other options I walked into the store in my panther costume, giggling and waving at everyone as my stepfather pushed me and my sister around on a cart. I guess you could say that that was my first fursuit outing ever.

Now here I am; an adult and my passion for costumes and performances have never been stronger. My parents adore my work and have encouraged me every step of the way. I hope that I can continue creating costumes for myself and others for many more years to come.
